AVA ROSE ISABEL

AVA ROSE ISABEL
We witness a mircle everytime a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time and miles, growing within the hearts of those who will love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's own hands --K. Larson

My father, Bob, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, October 18th. He was a crucial part of all of our lives and we are shocked and deeply saddened. He was 68 years old. He and my mom have been together since she was 13.

There was not a prouder husband, father or grandfather in this world. I am thankful that he joined me on my journey to visit Ava and then to bring her home. He beamed when he was with her. He would just stare at her and smile always saying "This one is so special". One of the hardest parts is knowing the great man that she will not get to know in life--she will know him though. I promise that.

I have received numerous calls, e-mails, etc. Thank you all so much for your prayers and support. I would really appreciate it if those of you who knew him would leave a message on Ava's blog for her about her grandpa that she could read when she is older. He was a huge advocate for adoption. We asked for donations to global orphan team in lieu of flowers.

Please say a prayer for my dad and my family.

Love,
Donna

Donna and Ava~ I am trying to find the words to make you feel better, but there are no words to make the saddness and the hurt go away. I know how much your heart hurts right now.. and I wish I was there to give you guys a big hug.. Talk about him all the time, share all the photos..it hurts, but it keeps him closer.

Ava.. Mike,Jamison and Jamison's Grandma had the privalge to meet your grandpa.. on our visit trip. He was such a neat guy, Ava. The smile he had on his face everytime we saw him with you.it would melt our hearts.. he loved you so much!!! He is your angel and he will watch over you, just like Jamison's grandpa is watching over him. You just have to look up.. you will see him smile..

We love you,
Tricia, Mike and Jamison

Donna,
I am so sorry to hear this. I have been away from the computer for a while(obviously). I did not know him, but it was VERY evident that he was a good man, husband, daddy and grandfather. I know the days ahead will be hard for all of you, but MANY people will cover all of you in prayer.
