AVA ROSE ISABEL

AVA ROSE ISABEL
We witness a mircle everytime a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time and miles, growing within the hearts of those who will love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's own hands --K. Larson

Lots of pictures!

Just looking out the window...
A cute smile because she knows she is not supposed to be up there! Now there's a new window and she is not happy because it's flat without a seat...

So for those of you who ask why her hair is never down or without a clip...this is why!
She looks like the little kid from Jungle Book...
My big girl, she loves to try to dress herself all the time...
A little light reading before bedtime!

Sleepy Girl on Mother's Day!
Ava just hanging out with her uncles & Grandpa
Ava helping mommy get ready for our Mother's Day Party
Finally, a Mother's Day with a baby in the same house!

Ava would show everyone her Strawberry Shortcake on her shirt...
She also learned "butt" and loves to point out hers and everyone elses!

Singing Happy Birthday to a lot of family members....
Mother's Day flowers...
Ava made this stepping stone for me, so cute!
My snug as a bug girl!

"Gone fishing"...this is for our friend Marcy! Ava was so quiet and when we walked in the bathroom this is what we found...Lets hope she doesn't put our real fish in the toilet bowl!

On our way to church...
Ava zoning out after just waking up...my little pippy longstocking!
Ava just loved this hat, too cute!

Ava has just recently gotten into her babies and she loves to walk them around....
This is her new smile when I say cheese...it cracks me up everytime!
Ava loves this baby, she sings in spanish...
Ava discovered the window seat... She kept climbing in and walking around like it was her stage!
Mother's Day was a lot of fun, we had about 20 people over for a bbq and the weather held out thankfully! Two years ago on Mother's Day I had my homestudy done, last year we were stuck in PGN and I found out two days before that we had a previo so this Mother's Day was so special! Ava made so many cute things in daycare and with Sarah for me. Very fun! She was so proud of everything. My mom got one of those cards with music that you record your own voice and when you open it up there is Ava's little voice saying "momma"...I love it!
She continues to grow like crazy, pretty much in size 18 months now. I think she is in a growth spurt because she is eating everything in sight. She is talking a lot more too. Her newest obsession..."the butt". An older child at daycare taught her...just lovely! So she points all the time to my backside going "momma the butt". My parents watched her on Sunday because we went to watch a basketball game in Manhattan. They took her shopping and there was a woman who was well endowed in the backside region so Ava started pointing at it and yelling "the butt, the butt". OMG, my parents were horrified. They said they did a quick 180 with the cart and that she didn't hear her. Ava will point out butts in the middle of the night, suddenly I'll hear her going "momma, butt". Ugh...I hope that when she can say other body parts we'll move on!
We continue to be a crazy family but loving it! We're off to Ohio on Thursday for the EAC reunion picnic. 8.5 hours in the car, wish us luck! There will be a lot of us to keep her entertained! It's me and Sarah, Aunt Leslie, and our friends Tanya and her daughter Mia. Two years ago when I first started I used to imagine going to this picnic with my baby and now I am! Last year I was so disappointed that she wasn't home in time. I am looking forward to meeting other families, last year they had close to 5,000 people!
Hope everyone is doing well!
love,
Donna and Ava
