Ava and her new friend the Easter Bunny!
You'll see why I'm blue a little later, look at my pretty hands! My new fairy skirt!
Ben taught me how to jump in my crib...
Then we colored eggs...I decided to taste it. Vinegar is not that bad!
Look-I did it!
Happy Easter! We're at my parents house for the holiday. Ava is doing great, much better after being really sick for a couple of weeks! She is getting so big and suddenly looks like a little girl, all the baby seems to be gone. I love this age. She now pats me all the time and goes momma. When we're out in public she will point to me and introduce me. It's so cute!
There's a new girl at daycare and Ava is having a personality conflict! The drama begins at 18 months--my little girl got her first time out on Friday for scratching her and leaving marks! Okay, I may be biased but I didn't think she deserved it! The girl pulled her hair from behind and wouldn't let go so Ava fought back. I know, I know...she needs to learn to not use her hands but hey, she can't use her words yet! Secretly it made me laugh when I got a text message that said Ava was in time out!
Ava is obsessed with the Easter Bunny. Each time we went to the mall she went right to him. The last time she walked right through the gates and a boy was on his lap. Well little missy walked right up and raised her hands to the bunny to pick her up! She pushed my hands away when I went to get her. I have got to get this girl to Disney!
Ava colored eggs with our friend Ben. They loved it! She would dye an egg, peel it, dye it again, take a bite...it was so funny. Ben was dying just the yolks but they had fun and that's all that mattered. I am so glad to have my baby home this Easter. Last year I was so depressed! Two years ago on Easter Sunday I firmed up my decision to adopt and made the announcement to my family. Wow, time flies!
Ava had pictures taken today. They came so cute but this girl makes you work for a smile these days. I will post some when I get them back.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!

Now take that taste of vinegar on eggs... mix it with a little chocolate ice cream... now that's the best :)
